In a partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Affton School District is pleased to again offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program to area children entering grades one through six. Gotsch Intermediate School will be the host for this weeklong summer adventure in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) that’s all about big ideas. Children will work together and seek innovative solutions to real-world problems and sharpen critical 21st century learning skills as they rotate through four modules that reinvent summer fun.
This unforgettable week begins on July 11, when Kristina Pluff, second grade teacher at Mesnier Primary, will direct the Camp Invention program at Gotsch Intermediate School.
Local educators will facilitate program modules and enthusiastic high school and college students will serve as Leadership Interns – ensuring that one staff member is in place for every eight children. Click here for more information.
