On Thurs, Jan 10, Mesnier halls filled with eager students wanting to learn math games and activities. There were 184 Mesnier families that took part in Math Night, which focused on skills included in the state’s Common Core Standards. They participated in Estimation Station, Pattern Necklaces, Math Apps for iPad, Odd and Even Street, Subtraction Bowling, Soaring Airplanes, and many other activities. The halls were also filled with interactive activities for families to do while going from activity to activity.
The next day, the results of Estimation Station were announced and the winner received a math game to take home and enjoy. There were 87 cotton balls in the jar.
