Affton Hosts Local Clergy At Inaugural Faith Breakfast

Dr. Steve Brotherton, superintendent of Affton Schools, along with Erica Chandler, community relations director, and Dena Christ and Maggie Stockmann, social workers in the district and administrators of the Affton Family Fund, met with representatives from local churches on Dec. 6 to discuss updates in the schools and how both institutions can work together to meet the needs of Affton students and families.

“We recognize the importance of the roles played by the home, the church, and the schools in raising any child,” said Brotherton. “I look forward to continuing our conversations with the Affton-area clergy, and to forming partnerships and synergies to benefit our students.”

Another Faith Breakfast is planned for Spring 2013. For additional information, please contact Erica Chandler.
