Mesnier School is participating in two holiday service projects: Pajama Program and Canned Food Drive.
The Pajama Program is a Classroom Care charity whose mission is to make bedtime a little more comfortable for children in need.
Students can donate 50¢ OR a pair of new pajamas, and wear a pair of school-appropriate pajamas to school on Friday, December 7th. All of the money collected will go towards purchasing new pajamas for The Pajama Program. Scholastic Book Clubs will also donate a book for every pair of PJ’s donated. For more information go to: www.pajamaprogram.org.
The Canned Food Drive begins on December 3rd and runs until December 14th. Students “can” support the community by donating non-perishable food items, paper products, and other toiletries. All collected items will be donated to the Affton Food Pantry located in the old St. George School.
