Mock Election Results

On Monday, Nov 5, Affton High School students voted in a mock election that included all national, state and local candidates and issues included in the national election held on Tues, Nov 6. Did they predict the winners? A comparison of the results is below.

The Social Studies Department also held an Election Watch Party at Affton High School. For donations of canned goods, benefiting the Affton Elks Lodge, or a monetary donation, benefiting an AHS student trip to the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, students watched the election results coming in throughout the evening. Affton-area businesses generously donated food for the event, and we’d like to thank the following restaurants for their support: Applebee’s (Crestwood), Aramark, Blue Sky Tower, Bosna Grill, Ding Ho, Federhofer’s Bakery, King Edward’s Chicken and Fish, and Tsevis.
