The kindergarten classes invited grandparents to enjoy Mesnier Grandparent Day on Friday, November 9. The students enjoyed some time in the cafeteria eating a snack with their grandparent or special friend. While in the cafeteria, grandparents or special friends received a poem with a handprint turkey from their kindergartener. After that, everyone went to the gym where the kindergartners entertained everyone with some songs.
Mrs. Bangert has been working with the kindergarten classes on the songs during music class. They sang Farmer Brown’s Cow, My Dog Rags, Planting Seeds, Autumn Leaves, Any Turkey Can Tango, and Things I’m Thankful For. The kindergarten students even had movements that they performed while singing. It was a wonderful and enjoyable program.
