On March 4, Junior April Votrain received the Excellence in Science recognition from University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Arts and Sciences. April was among 62 students in the St. Louis area to receive this award. She was nominated by science teacher Laurie Free.

The band competed at MSHSAA large group contest on Wednesday, March 4th under the direction of Mr. Bill Wells. The group received 3 “Excellent” ratings in prepared music and 1 “Excellent” rating in sight reading. They did a great job of representing the Affton School District!

James Sykes, a senior at Affton High School, has been selected as a member of the 2014-2015 class of Coca-Cola Scholars.
