2016 Summer School Program

Camp 1, June 6th – June 17th: MUSIC MAKERS!

Come open your mind to a world of sounds. All of your senses will be awakened as we explore many genres of music through song, dance, books, and games. We will also construct, play, and learn about different kinds of instruments. Join us for a rhythmical adventure!

Camp 2, June 20th – July 1st: UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Join us as we put our creative feet forward. toolsThese 2 weeks will be packed full of opportunities to build a variety of objects using a wide array of building materials and tools. You will be surprised what your little hands can create!

Camp 3, July 5th – July 15th: BOOKS COME ALIVE!

Have you ever read a book and wanted to be a part of that story? We will choose an author or book series for the children to explore.books The activities and learning will revolve around the characters and the plots of each story. We will bring the books to life!

Camp 4, July 18th – July 29th: TAKING A ROAD TRIP!

From camping in forests of Colorado to sunning on the beaches of Florida to tasting a Boston cream pie of Massachusetts, we are going on a road trip. minnieThe children’s 5 senses will be engaged in the differences of the states we explore. So pack your gear as we embark on an exploration of this great country!

 

 

2016 SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

WHO IS INVITED:Children ages 3 through pre-K (those who have not yet attended kindergarten)

WHEN: June 6th through July 29th. (The program will be broken into four 2-week camps. You may choose any number of camps that you would like.)

WHERE: Affton Early Childhood Center
REGISTRATION FEE: $15.00 per camp
• This fee will be applied to your cost of the camp.
• Each session must have a minimum enrollment of 12 children. If the class enrollment does not meet this minimum, the class will be cancelled and the $15.00 fee will be refunded. We will send home notifications of your child’s placement once we have completed the registration process.
• This fee is non-refundable if the camp meets the minimum requirement.

COST: $215.00 per camp

SCHEDULE: 8:30a.m. – 1:00p.m., Monday through Friday
• You cannot pick days. You may choose not to send your child every day but full payment is required.
• A sack lunch and snacks will be provided

BEFORE CARE: $42.00 per camp
• Opens at 6:30a.m.

AFTER CARE:
• 1:00p.m. – 3:30p.m. – $42.00 per camp (Students must be picked up by 3:30pm or you will be charged the later pick-up rate of $60.00.)
• 1:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. – $60.00 per camp

Students that are new to Affton Early Childhood will need to fill out an Emergency Contact form, a Health History form and submit current immunization records. Current students will need to inform the office of any changes you may have to your Emergency Contacts.

By signing the form below, you agree to allow our staff members to apply sunscreen to your child as needed.
(Parents will need to send in a bottle of sunscreen labeled with your child’s name on it. The sunscreen will remain at school for the duration of the Summer Program.)
